Ella sunrise and bridges Easy

  1. Pre-dawn start to Little Adam’s Peak summit.
  2. Breakfast and coffee in Ella town.
  3. Short forest path to Nine Arches Bridge for passing trains.
  4. Optional: Ravana Falls and a tea-estate walk.

Knuckles waterfalls loop Moderate

  1. Trailhead safety brief and weather check.
  2. Forest climb to ridge, descend to pools for a safe swim.
  3. Village lunch and spice garden lane walk.
  4. Easy exit track before afternoon showers.

Horton Plains early entry Moderate

  1. Gate opening arrival for clear views at World’s End.

Safety & etiquette

  • Use local guides on unmarked trails; follow ranger advice.
  • Weather first: plans may change for wind, rain or lightning.
  • Hydration and sun: carry water, hat and SPF even on cool days.
  • Water work: helmets, lifejackets and pro supervision are mandatory for rafting or canyoning.
  • Leave no trace: stay on paths, pack out litter, no loud music.
